I'm eating my crow right now and it doesn't taste too good. I might need more salt, pepper and a lot more sauce. Congrats to Rock Hill, they sure surprised me but that's what happens in the tourney. You never know but you MUST bring your "A" game every night once you get to the District finals and above in any sport because you're facing teams that have proven themselves (mostly by strength of schedule) to get that far and have beaten many good teams during the year. Again, good luck to Rock Hill in the Regionals.
If that sounds like sour grapes (which is not my style normally) I guess I just got tired of seven innings of Warren players and fans cheering for an MSL team over their SEOAL sisters. Disgusting!
It makes me wonder where league loyalties lie. If we cannot support one another, what is the point of being joined in a common league?
You really don't understand why they would do that? Seriously?
Might be off by 1 loss but I think Rock Hill has only lost twice on the year -- both to my ND Titans. They also creamed us prom weekend when we were short a couple players --but i don't think it would have matttered --they creamed the ball that day against us and 2 other clubs. Very good offensive team, was surprised to see them get a shutout in a district final---any idea id they threw their freshman ? MD
DeSales beat LE 9-0. DeSales is one of the better teams I've seen this season. Very good hitting ballclub, very good defense that gets great breaks on the ball and a pitcher who just gets the job done. LE made five errors, three in the first that led to six unearned runs. Once a crack was open, DeSales took advantage, like good teams do.

Location: NORTH OF EDEN The Chillicothe winner will probably face (IMO)Dover again this year @ Pickerington. I know DeSales is loaded and spanked a good Bishop Hartley team (whose assistant coach used to play for me) twice this year during Central Catholic League play with huge middle innings and they're on the other side of the bracket for the Pickerington regional.
As I posted on 4'evers "Gallipolis #6 in latest poll" on 05/17/11 I thought DeSales would be too much for anyone else in this region but I did watch Logan Elm beat Philo the other night and they looked good but DeSales is going to state in both baseball and softball (not talking football for once) and both their diamond teams this year are very good. Hurray for the Catholic schools, not !!!!!
Lagrange Keystone plays DeSales and should win it. Keystone beat Lakewood (Hebron) who got put in the Northwest bracket (they are in Licking County) and in the past always played in the Pickerington regional which is about a 20 minute drive. OHSAA at work again but Lakewood won the last 3 state championships so it's about time another team wins it. One school cant' have all the fun.

Even without the errors (which are part of the game), it would've still been 3-0. DeSales was a pretty good ballclub and the better team. I get to watch some D1 Central District softball during the season so I don't know if I'd put them with some of those schools, but DeSales had a nice team.
Not surprised by Keystone then topping DeSales. Keystone has a top-notch softball program.
