I think that the selection(or nominations)took place on the 15th in wellston if im not mistaken...names should be hitting the press soon.Baseball already has their team up on the website....Softball needs to get with it sounds like...

the organizers ask the coaches to keep it secret until it's released to the press -- no clue when that is--but teams are having their banquets already and conference picks and district picks would be nice to know to be able to honor those that made it. MD

im with ya 100% on this one MD....whats the big deal,most of the picks probably play travel ball and would be nice to get some props from your community and school before heading off for the summer..just dont get the BS politics that go along with HS sports.

one of the girls on my daughters travel team got the triple crown in the confrence she is in and not to mention hit 11 homers this year and her mom asked if she would be concidered for 1st or 2cd team and he told her no way will he nominate a freshman no matter how many records or whatever she does for all state or confrence until she is a junior....how about that sports fans...

not all coaches see it that way,some coaches will do both and some will welcome the knowledge of players who are exposed to travel so he or she have the opportunity to help others on the team.....well i guess its that way.lol..yea right
