Larry Jordan. Now boys its time to get back into the gym and get to work. You have some catching up to do, but no one knows more basktetball than Larry. Just glad it is over and the program can move in a positive direction.

Good to see Coach Jordan back in the game. I am sure we will see a different Western team come November. To the Western parents and fans, give Larry a chance and I am sure you will not be disappointed. I will try to make a few games myself as will several others I'm sure.

When Jordan took over Jackson after a 2 or 3 win season and in a tough league I told someone that if Jordan can get to 6 wins with the circumstances then he'll really prove something to me. We started 0-8 but finished with 7 wins and even knocked off a talented Portsmouth team that beat beat us by 37 points earlier in the year. He's definitely a presence on the sideline.

Well first week of open gym almost over . There's about 36 kids showing up but only like 3 with varsity experience. Should have some depth this year though with some of last years jv players and a couple freshman getting some varsity burn I would guess . The boys got there work cut out for them. But I feel they can do it if anyone can.

Kids are playing hard like Western teams do they are at New Boston Monday night for summer league looking forward to watching them against some schools there size. Very impressed with the Shanks and Brewster kids play to this point they are doing very well to just be freshman. With the way some of the younger kids are comeing along looks like Coach Jordan could have a 8-9 man rotation. Keep working boys and you can reach your goals this year.
