Before everyone turns this forum and every forum on the NBA into a Heat bashing parade let me say this: give Dallas all the credit in the world for getting the monkey off their backs. Lots of guys who had tried and tried to win a championship finally got one. They were the better team in this series and they deserve it.
As far as the Heat, their day will come. They made it to the Finals in their first season together, which is farther than many thought they would get after their regular season struggles. I still think they need to add another athletic, physical post prescense. Also, Spoelstra was outcoached in this series by Carlisle which isn't surprising.
The LeBron haters will try to turn this into an emotionally charged situation. It's not. It's a Basketball game, and it's a team game. Dallas deserves the championship, the Heat do not, and that's the end of the story. LeBron still made the right choice by going to Miami there is no doubting that. He needs to try and get more confidence in his shot. When he is hitting he is unstoppable and when he is not shooting well I think Skip Bayless could guard him.
The Heat will be back though and LeBron will win a championship. In the meantime, hats off to the Mavs.
and with that being said, a team with 3 super stars is good,,,but its going to be hard to get good bench players to hang around and not play much, the bench of the Mavs had a lot to do with winning this...

Since El Heat will be surrendering numerous draft picks in the upcoming seasons, finding free agents — experienced or undrafted — will be their only source for depth. Otherwise, you are stuck with what you El Have.
I think more changes are on the way for the Heat. I would expect them to move 2-3 players and attempt to build a better support cast for LBJ, DW and Bosh.
I do however think that they will fall short for the next few years, because they have too many stars on their team and will never be as unified as the Mavs.
LBJ was a ghost during the 4th quarter in the series and Wade tried to single handily beat the Mavs. That may work on the lesser teams in the NBA, but not a championship caliber team.
If LBJ and D Wade dont win a ring in the next 2 years I would expect to see the "Big 3" broken up to save on payroll. If that is the case, LBJ may go down as one of the biggest flops in the playoffs of all time.

LeBron is who you should be talking about. Bosh out played LeBron in this series. I thought LeBron and Wade were making fun of Dirk but they were actually both choking.

No not even close, Bosh couldnt carry Lebrons jock. Bosh shots about 20% from the field and cant box out to save his life. When he came to MIA it proved that Bosh isnt as good as he looked with the Raptors. Lebron was the second leading scorer in the NBA and lead his team in assist and top three on his team in rebounds. Why would you replace the best player in the NBA? But that being said teams now are out to match MIA in talent. I say Howard will end up in Chicago with D. Rose and J. Noah and if that happens that team would be hard to beat. Not to mention that CP3 will end up in the big apple with Melo and Amare.
LeBron is far from the best player in the NBA. He is a good regular season player but CHOKES in the big games. When he is air balling lay ups and shooting 5 footers that don't even hit rim he is not the best player in the NBA. Look at his fingers, no rings, in Cleveland the excuse was he couldn't do it by himself. Now he has two all stars and still can't do it. He scored 18 4th quarter points in six games. He is the best all right, at choking.
I love it!! All that crap about the Heatles and all the other spit that was said by the "Big 3" and they got beat!!!! Lebron really should how great he is during the finals
