Whatever you do, don't turn it on. If you turn it on while it's wet it will fry all the circuits.
You can dry them out sometimes and they will still work. There is some stuff they sell that you put the phone in and then close it in a container and it will draw the moisture out. You can also use rice to draw the moisture out, though it doesn't work as well as the material you can buy and usually takes a couple of times to get the moisture out. You can also wrap it in a towel and put it in the oven on the lowest setting possible and check on it often. My son got his wet and we dried it out enough that it worked except for the camera. He eventually bought another one about a year later.

Man, that stinks guy! That's the trouble with phones like the Iphone, even though they're great to have, replacing them is just outrageous when it's not upgrade time. I know I've came to depend on my terribly. Almost like I feel like going into a panic when I discover I've left home without it.Raiderball wrote:with iphone in my pocket... :122247 :122247 :122247

I removed the sim card and have it in rice now. Don't have much hope of saving it though.
Have left home without my phone a few times and it's like... oh crap!

Hair dryers work nice on drying them out as well, but takes a little time. If it was winter time, I'd say lay it on a heat register in your house. That works pretty good too.

Amazing. Never had a cell phone, Iphone or any of that other stuff. Life is just fine without it.

Took phone to apple store at Easton yesterday. No luck on reviving it. It was replaced though.
