I have been quoting famous military leaders and political leaders for years on here, might as well keep it going!
"May God have mercy upon my enemies, because I won't.
"
General Patton! Lets Go Streaks!

Go Streaks! Redstreak Nation and it's Sea of Red descends upon the village up north Friday night. Should be an interesting game with both teams looking to prove themselves.

Pretty evenly match......till the speed of the Streaks sets in..in the second half....good luck to the Tigers after this game.....

No disrespect, but where is their speed? They certainly didnt have much of it last year. Did they get some transfers?
Re: Week 1 Piketon @ Waverly August 26th
Hoping the Tigers had a great week of preparation and are ready to turn the ship around.

Did Mean Gene just say on the Radio that it doesn't hurt his feelings any that Unioto is losing. Doesn't he work there? Oh man, that can't be good.

Really doubt if anyone at Unioto is worried about it. Unioto 35 VC 14

No score at the half, 4 TO's each. Waverly fumbled at the goal line as time expired. Two other 1st half Tiger fumbles inside the 20.
Piketon takes the opening kickoff of the 2nd half the distance for a 6-0 lead and jumped out to a 21-0 lead after 3 periods of play. A Tiger fumble at midfield with 10:17 left in the 3rd lead to Piketon's 2nd score + the 2 point conversion to make it 14-0. A 3rd score and PAT made it 21-0 and the Streaks were cruising - not so fast.
Waverly responded with two scores, the first a 4th and goal plunge by Bolin-Hitchens from the 1 with 11:58 to go in the game. The next score came on a pass from Bolin-Hitchens to Drake McCain from 29 yards with 8:59 to play and it was 21-14.
Waverly fumbled again at midfield with 4:05 to play but held the Streaks and got the ball back one more time with a little over 2 minutes to play but failed to convert on a 4th and a bunch at around the Piketon 40.
6 turnovers in all for the Tigers (4 fumbles in the 1st half and 2 in the 2nd)
4 turnovers in all for the Streaks (3 fumbles and 1 pick all in the 1st half)
The Tigers will need to regroup as they committed several penalties as well.
