Ironton - I think that in the past 15/16 years the best Tiger defenders are:
DB - Jason Harmon
DL - Michael Henry, Troy Sands
LB - Matt Kelly

Best Free Safety I ever witnessed was Jared Humphreys at Jackson. He could read and stop the option and play pass and was a fine QB to boot. Awesome football player in my opinion though and played baseball in college.

mike gawalek lb -chillicothe- 3 year starter at illinois
marshal upshaw ss- chillicothe- started at miami ohio as a frosh but didnt stay in program
brady cunningham corner- chilli- 4 yr starter at a d3 college
brad bates- chilli- bigtime shutdown corner-- played wr at marshall (scored go ahead td against osu in the shoe before nugent kicked the long field goal to win )
aj cousins- chilli- d tackle- 3 year starter and team captain at edinboro
all on def. at chilli at same time

Alf Bricker DB for West 2008. Never seen someone 6'3" tall that could cover anyone and come up and stop the run in the backfield. Great instincts for the game!

Ole Kenny was a headhunter (Linebacker) at West Virginia as well.
