The pirate defense from what I saw today at chilly was flat out bad fast, don't know how else to put it!! just flying to the ball all over the place. speed on both sides and the offense answered questions for those in doubt ?

I heard that Wheelersburg put up 4 scores to 0. Heard our defense is pretty good and our offense needs some work. Maybe someone who was there can give a better analysis?

Don't now much about Burg but I saw Chilly twice this summer at 7 on 7's and if their lines are like there skill kids they may not win a game....

Good to hear the defense is responding. have some sophs playing this yr from what Ive heard on defense. Normally not a good sign. But the sophs coming up can smack!! Im not worried about this team. Alot of ppl have stated on other threads that Burg is down, not enuff players coming out etc.... Glad the defense is responding well. Coach is a defensive minded one! Hope the offense can catch up. I guess we will find out about the d Friday against Jackson should be a good scrimmage seams to me like Jackson has a pretty explosive offense but maybe Meigs d wasn't that good time will tell. Good luck to wheelersburg this season.

What time is the Burg/Jackson scrimmage Friday. I dont think we need to worry about rain, but i have heard if there is rain in the forecast the game would be moved to Jackson. Any truth to this, and if so, when would that decision be made so we don't all show up at the wrong venue.

It's at 6 I haven't heard anything about moving it if it rains or anything but iff I hear something I'll post it.

I was told that the scrimmage starts at 6:30.

I did hear that it might be moved to Jackson if there's a lot of rain tomorrow/Friday, but the forecast doesn't seem to calling for that, so I'd say we'll be headed to Wheelersburg for the first time in quite a while.
