7 is the best athlete and player on RV team, awesome db imho we need to do what we can to get him the ball in space.EasternDspy wrote:Teams are pretty even.10 for RV best player on the field so I give them slight nod. RV 20 FH 12

7 made what 1 catch vs SG?Maybe they should move him to Tailback.34 just did not run hard sat night.RV has a really slow defense. The good thing is FH is very slow also.Passing the ball was the only way Lancers could move it vs Fort Frye.Wilder and Mayle need to make plays for Lancers.Should be a decent game.

Not bashing 7 (will not use name) but he is not the best player because he seamy always give his best effort. 10 needs to hit the weights IMO. 22 is the best player IMO.

7 had 2 catches for 30 yds. 1st play RV ran 15yds then in the 3rd qtr he had a catch for 15 prob 15 tackles I got a pretty good look at the stats. This is a team game. We do need to be better in the weight room!

As far as the defense being slow? To a man they have pretty good speed, i think the reaction and decision process is a little slow though. They are in a 4-4 but play it totally different than last year. Several young kids play as well. I thought the defense is actually the bright spot the first 3 scrimmages should have had a shut out against South Point. Trustme this is a talented staff they will make adjustments and work on mistakes. Also SG is pretty good! That scrimmage was pretty competitive and good experience for the young RaidersEasternDspy wrote:7 made what 1 catch vs SG?Maybe they should move him to Tailback.34 just did not run hard sat night.RV has a really slow defense. The good thing is FH is very slow also.Passing the ball was the only way Lancers could move it vs Fort Frye.Wilder and Mayle need to make plays for Lancers.Should be a decent game.
I thought Williams(34)got better as the game went on, he is also prob going to be the fastest kid on the field in every RV game. He is a great kid and learning at 6' and 200 with his speed one can allow a learning curve.

What a absolute GREAT game this was to watch!! Great game by both teams, despite all the season opening jitters and turnovers.....great way to end it for RV with the Noble INT in the endzone to seal the win!!!
