Saturday, 8/27/11 - Unioto will host Hillsboro with reserves starting at 4:00 and varsity at 5:45.

For a full day of soccer, the Unioto girls will begin Saturday off at home against Circleville with reserves at 11 a.m., varsity at 12:45, and then the boys games.

St. Joe beat West 10-1.

West's defense fell apart. They wouldn't get in front of the ball. The offense had several oppurtunities but couldn't finish it off. All but maybe 4 or 5 shots St. Joe took hit the back of the net. This team has a lot more talent than any team West has had in the past few years but they didn't put any effort in the game tonight.

Any notes on who did the scoring on any of these games? I was at both New Boston-South Point and Valley-Northwest for pictures but no one scored during the times I was there.

Ouch!! No, not a football score. Got beat like we stole something. A senior strong Irish team really gave the young Cavs an education. It's been a while since Chilly was on the wrong end of a game like this.... if ever. It will be interesting to see what the Cavs can take from the loss and what they can put to good use during the week before they play Fairfield Union. Gave us much to work on. Exposed all weaknesses. A great deal of work to do...

Thanks for the help with scores everyone. Games that I didn't list aren't listed because no one has entered them on OSSCA.org. I have privileges to do that and will try and add additional games as I have time but I'm busy with my own team while also following lots of others around the state.

On related note, you all might be interested in checking out the below link for tournament details. I don't know much about SE D2 but in D3 there is a major change for the combined SE/E district. 3 teams to regionals this year means 4 SE teams advance to districts and 2 E teams.
