Usually an 11 team bracket looks like the following.....


1-5 get byes

6 vs 11
7 vs 10
and 8 vs 9 winners move on

4 plays 5
3 plays 6 (11)
2 plays 7 (10)
1 plays 8 (9) and now it depends on the brackets! If 4 move on to the district then these 4 winners move on and play the 4 winners from the other district. If 2 move on then there is of course 1 more round

West went up 2-0 after 2 minutes and led 3-0 at half, but they were getting carded every few minutes in the second half. They completely dominated the first half, and played well in the second. A questionable call in the box gave the Pointers a pk that tied it up. I hate seeing a call like that take a win away.

Well played game by the Tigers.... JV game ended in 1-1 tie through half, Waverly have nice goal off a cross by right wing player. Minfords goal came off a corner, which was an own goal by Tigers.

Varsity game was lopsided in possession...the Freshman Purpero looked played like an upper classman and was defiantly in my opinion Player of Game.
Prayers to the Waverly player that got stream rolled hope he is ok and able to returned it looked nasty, esp with no booking given. Great league win by the Tigers 3-0

Even worse I hate to see the coach make a bone head move that ultimately cost the win. I still don't understand what she was thinking. West played well. They played as a team tonight. Still some bugs to work out but an overall a good performance.

Congrats to Waverly for their win over Minford. Waverly started out a little off, but gained their confidence after the first goal by Wiget. Roseberry and Purpero followed with the other two goals. Great midfield by Collins and Halterman. Nice job by defense. Waverly still needs to work on leading the ball better to their offense. Hopefully the younger players with more playing experience will be able to gel with the older players. Waverly seems to be improving and hope you work as a team and not as individuals. You have a great season a head of you. Don't count Minford out when you play at their field. It's still early in the season. Good luck to both.
