Finally!!

Of course football is just around the corner now so there probably wouldn't have been as much on here anyway.

I'd like to include religion too as one poster here makes those into "politics" without mentioning the name. If its a clean break, then do the right thing. Otherwise, its a joke.

I see no problem seeing religion spoken on here. I hate to see it when someone tries to separate religion and politics. Both go hand in hand on many things.

What makes religion seem so taboo on here is the ones that always disagree with everything religious, no matter who posts it. Face it...it's a way of life and will continue being that way

Because it is so entwined with politics today..............I believe they should be seperate, but on here, pallidin is right, there is one particular person who is just a bit over the top religously and would make it a nightmare for the mods to control......Best just to put it over there.................... :12224

So, what, would you like to ban that you've termed 'religion'?

Well said! There are too many people that are AFRAID to hear anything religious. If it doesn't fit their agenda, they are against it. No one is making anyone read those post. If you don't want to read them, skip over them and stop causing trouble for the one(s) that post them or enjoy reading them.

There is NOTHING in the rules that state that religion can be discussed (or brought into a conversation). Its not forbidden and should never be kept away. The Chat area does not say that religion cannot be talked about, and I am glad that it can be expressed.

I agree with Beefcake and Runner and I can't understand for the life of me why some people are so against something but are bound and determined to read it and comment on it. How goofy is that ??

I enjoy reading everyone's thoughts and views about both politics and religion even if I don't agree with their point of views or belief's. That is their right. Some views are off the wall and some provoke thoughts that I had never realized. So to me I don't mind chatting about these subjects. It does get out of hand sometimes, bu that is what makes it fun to read. lol

I guess our top secret politics forum from the past couple years isn't so top secret anymore?

I know one thing --without chatter about politics and religion the chat forum is so entirely BORING it couldn't stimulate an ADD child. MD

Its been a long time since it was top secret. A couple of people kept saying "wrong forum" or "put it in the political forum" for a very long time. Everyone that visited this section knew there was a hidden forum when they read that.
