Newcomerstown @ Hannibal River Week 2

Can the Pilot D extend its scoreless streak? Can the Pilot O gel a little more & put up some big numbers? Id say River only ran about 25% of the playbook against Fort. If River jumps ahead early in this game I dont look for them to pull out anything new. Dont need to show the whole hand till next week against Monroe Central.

Caldwell had great success on the ground against the Trojans, and I look for River to try and duplicate that.

That's right. Read where 8 starters were out but ALL will be back this week. I know River has never beaten Newcomerstown (i think 0-2) so don't expect another Ft. Frye to roll into town. Trojans expecting 7-8 win season.

Newcomerstown is awful.....they have no structure and are soft. If River can't beat them I can't imagine how bad Fort Frye would have to be.

River had 5 turnovers and Newcomerstown had a TD called back in the 4th quarter. It's a shame the offense couldn't find a way to the end zone.

It's not going to get any easier for River. If they fall behind and have to pass against a good team, it could get very ugly.
