Symmes Valley was also playing football 2 weeks ago to go along with Valley playing one week ago. It was a good match-up though it looked like both teams were still playing football at times. :)

Eastern looked very good against Oak Hill ... Oak hill is huge but Eastern handled them. Burg shot well tonight, soild team but not hardly any height. looks like a looong season for Green and Clay. Waverly has lots of talent. they love shooting the 3. sometimes they even make it..... MD

Eastern is very quick. Should be one of the top teams in SOC1 this year. Symmes Valley could also be there.. SOC2 could be up for grabs. Five or six teams Valley ,Waverly, Burg, Minford, West, and Webster could all play spoiler this year. Glad to see everbody play. That's good for the kids and the parents.

McBee for Minford is going to make the Falcons a contender I believe in the SOC .. He had close to 20 points in a little over a quarter of play and with there bigs underneath are going to be tough game for any team they face

Coop, Valley had about 6 hours practice and that is including the 2 hour practice before the Previews. They are still in Football mode a little give them another week with Scott and he will have them ready to go . Lot of talent on this team and a lot of height . I think they will compete !

West looked rough on both sides...defensively we gave clay too many open shots, if they would hit some of them, we would of been in deep trouble. Offensively we looked somewhat stagnant and didn't create enough good looks. However, there is a lot of toobe excited about. Jb Travis and Zach Bolton have the potential to be top tier players and proved the can make shots when the team needed it. Austin Bricker looked pretty good running the point, he has good ball-handling skills and is a good passer, he just needs more experience. Hafer showed some flashes on both ends, I also expect Adam Bricker and Zach Frye to improve the longer they are in the gym. I could see us being much improved this year, maybe in the middle to top of the conference, but we must improve on offense to do this.

I think this will be a very tough division this year. I could see Waverly, South Webster, Valley or Minford all having chances at winning it. South Webster being D4 will benefit come tournament time by playing such a tough schedule.

True. The year South Webster won the state they lost to Eastern in the previews.
They mean nothing.
