#2 Wellston vs #3 Ironton 3/5 5:00pm

i wouldnt count wellston out of this one. they are a tough team and wont lay down. Saturday they started rough but went on to win BIG, going on a 53-9 run. They also have some great players: Nigel Courts( TVC player of the year) is tough to handle inside and has incredible post moves, Blake Warrington can knock down threes all day when he's on, Craig is a great ball handler and can shoot some, also a great defender, Ousley will be tough as well to handle inside, at 6'7" he is a great rebounder, shot blocker, and can step outside and shoot. Ernest brown is a tough player off the bench, he is a tough defener, not an outstanding offensive player but can handle the ball better than other gaurd like dakota brown and should startr over him IMO. Good Luck to both teams, this should be a good game!

i heard about dion brown getting hurt again, knee i think. what exactly was the injury this time. i pray it was not an acl again. and was it to the same leg injured before. prayers to him.

It is an ACL, Bait. He injured the other knee this time and is supposedly out 6 to 9 months. Heard he is a no go on football this year.

man, i feel so sorry for this young man. he may need to just forego all sports and concentrate on getting well, and his future , before he prematurely needs added surgeries. and a possible steel knee somewhere down the road.prayers to you dion.

I don't mean to sound rude but I have seen both teams play Wellston is not your average 2 seed im not sure how they got that spot b/c from what I saw they aren't close to the same level as Portsmouth, Chesapeake or Ironton. So Im going to say Tigers by close to 40.

Wellston has some talented players and can put some points on the board. I think Wellston may have some trouble defensively when trying to stop Ironton.

I hate to see 20 plus point predictions. With Ironton not at 100% right now, I look for Lafon to play some players sparingly and doing whatever it takes to win the game. You only have to win by one to advance. I think Ironton will be in control most of the game and a 10 point margin is comfortable to win by ...... hopefully with Fletcher resting that ankle most of the time.
