Ike Taylor actually played a solid game. Our running game clicked which ultimately got us the win, multiple TD passes dropped though. Glad to be back at .500, let's keep it going!

The Bengals for whatever reason didn't want to throw the ball up to Green. Then tried to run the ball at the end of the game. They said during the game that Marvin Lewis likes to make changes at halftime to counteract what the other team is doing. Well just because he likes to do it doesn't mean he should. Before it was Marvin was being handcuffed by Mike Brown. Now Marvin does not have that excuse. He seems to be a good assistant coach who is not a very good head coach.

The Steelers hung in the game by halftime. Then their defensive changes helped to keep the Bengals at bay. The Steelers rode the Rambling Wreck to gain yards. As Dwyer showed what kind of back he was in college. The Bengals could not come up with stops when the needed. This now gives the Steelers another option in the running game when the others come back. They need to be able to run the ball to give their offensive line a break from pass blocking all the time. The Steelers showed up on prime time as the Bengals did not. This is going to be an up and down season for their division.

There is no clear-cut favorite for the AFC North. All teams have vulnerabilities. Baltimore is ahead now but they have yet to paly the Steelers. The Steelers show signs of aging and a thinner-than-usual roster. As for the AFC, the best team for now is the Houston Texans but I don't see them playing in the Super Bowl. I think Brady and Belichick figure it out in New England. I think whoever makes it from the NFC is the favorite in the Super Bowl but that could be any of four or five teams.

Ben had some words after the game about the play calling. Well Haley seems to rub a lot of people the wrong way. Sure his team the Cards got to the Super Bowl. But that was more by the play of Warner and Fitzgerald. If it wasn't for that run they made at the end of the season he probably would have been fired. The Cards were happy he left for the Chiefs after that. Which only took a few years before he ticked off almost everyone around the franchise. This with Ben may end up in blows since Haley is such a hot head. Not good for a team with much of the season left in front of them.

Steelers looked better. The line played a lot better without getting beat up or giving up a sack. Dwyer is looking like he did in college. The defense played better but the Redskins dropped a lot of catchable passes. Some they were worried about being hit but not all of them.

Didn't seem like the words Ben had about the play calling had any ill effects. Still something to watch when things do not go well with their ego's.

The rest of the season is sprinkled with tough games & trap games. Hopefully the Steelers can just keep playing like they did last night. Maybe tighten coverage up a bit, Redskin WR's were wide open a few times but luckily dropped some passes. I'll be convinced that this D is worth the high ranking it has if it plays well against Eli and their talented offense. It's good to be on the winning side of things again, Go Steelers!

I'll have to agree there. Those striped uniforms were more suited for the Bengals. :122246

Despite the refs bad calls the Steelers still beat the giants.Justice was served...The way I figure without the terrible calls at most the giants would have scored nine points...Next up KC at Heinz...

What a fantastic game,a few terrible calls early but it didn't affect the outcome. RB's are just stepping up, no matter which one we put in. I don't care what the doubters say, this season is starting to feel like a good one!

I thought the ball was coming loose in his hand on the foward motion making it a fumble but the non clip call was bad, can't believe tomlin called the fake field goal I knew it was coming and so did the giants, luckily their defense bailed them out, nice win for the steelers now if can they keep the bergerman healthy I think they will win the division.

The Steelers are playing better. They seem to be doing alright with whoever they play at RB. But those injuries may hurt when you have to play more than 1 RB in a game. Even Rainey got banged up. The OLine is playing a lot better and not having multiple players going out during a game. Having a WR with an ankle sprain but if it turns into a high ankle that can mean weeks. The defense is coming around and not getting burned on the long passes or atleast by Eli having one of his off nights. Which is one of the reasons why he shouldn't be thought of as an Elite QB. HE can have bad games or 3 bad quarters and play well in the fourth. Then Ben has another game of very high 3rd down coversions.

This game is hard to tell how the effects of Sandy bothered either team. It is now over and in the past. The Steelers need to not lose a game the are favored to. Injuries can still be the downfall to this team. If the OLine can stay healthy that will give them a chance to stay in all of their games even if injuries mount. The Conference is wide open for anyone to win this year.

This will be interesting with Haley going back to KC after being fired. Maybe KC will put it all together against the Steelers. While catching the Steelers on an off day. If not should be a Steeler win by 3TD's. The Steelers need to protect their players from injuries the best they can.

The Steelers were lucky to win. The Chiefs penalties and dropped passes kept the Steelers in the game. Now is Ben really hurt? That could really change the Steelers season.

The officiating was horrible to say the least, the chiefs are pathetic on offense can't believe Dabol is still in football,Romeo will pay for that one although he probably not head coaching material either. The Steeler's future looks dim if Bergerman is hurting the rest of the year.
