I have a 8th grade team made up of primarily 7th graders in the South Central Middle School League. Teams from Eastern, Peebles, Whiteoak, Fairfield, Greenfield, Chillicothe, Westfall, Miami Trace, Wilmington, Hillsboro.

Should be a pretty good league this year. Always competitive. Hillsboro will be the team to beat this year. They have a core group of kids that all play together on a travel team.

The Minford/Notre Dame game was sure a good one. Both teams did well for this early in the season to make it a nail biter. Minford 8th takes two yesterday, 15-1 over Northwest 8th grade and 7-2 (maybe) over Oak Hill 7th grade. Good job ladies, the bats were swinging hard yesterday with several girls getting hits to the grass.

Rock Hill beat Oak Hill , took a double -header from Lawrence co, Ky.
Beat Clay and lost to Wheelersburg (4-0)--
Beat Greenup Co. last night 14-4 in 5 innings.

Minford 8th struggling this past week with losses to Symmes Valley, Clay on Saturday and Greenup last night. They play Portsmouth tonight and hopefully can turn things around.

Piketon 7th grade is 4-1. Beating a strong Waverly team. This young Piketon team is very good when the entire team is present. Multiple girls doing track and club volleyball.

Rock Hill wins the Middle School Tournament. Wins over Portsmouth, Minford, Green-up co. and 2-1 winners against Wheelersburg. Season record 21-3. Great job ladies!!
