Very good win. Looks like the SHL has four teams playing for a district title.

Good season Southern, sad to see it end on a game we should have won though. GO TORNADOES!

Obviously underseeded.

The SHL has been strong again this postseason.

Nice win Manchester....best of luck with South Webster. Prooving to be the two best teams in the district.

Don't make this about steerballer. Manchester just dominated a district semifinal game against what many perceived as the best SE D4 team. The Manchester players and coaches deserve the kudos.

Congrats to the Hounds!

Do you SHL fans still think the SOC did the SHL wrong? Many of the SOC teams had to play each other at Valley and continue to play each other at the Convo. Good Luck vs the South Webster/Symmes Valley winner!

Yes, 100%

Eastern Pike likely getting the #2 seed made this an easy thing for the coaches.

One side of the bracket has Notre Dame and Eastern Pike and no challengers....therefore a no doubt regional appearance without leaving the SOC 1.

The other side of the bracket has South Webster, Manchester, Southern, Fairfield and Whiteoak to eliminate each other.

Why is it ok for the SOC 1 schools to play each other but not the SHL. It is the same gripe every year! There is one way to eliminate what you claim that happens! Let the SHL have their own sectional and the SOC and TVC have their own! It would be the same difference or contact the state and move to the Southwest District. Manchester did not play Notre Dame and Eastern Pike, so what makes you think Manchester would win those games if they did?

Grate job Manchester this crow I'm eating is nasty though. I thought if Rikketts played big they would be have a shot but wow ! If he continues this high play along with Combs there a good combo. But Im really surprised at the final score. Congrats hounds you earned it. Good luck the rest of the way.

Seems like we picked the worst night to shoot so poorly. Couple that with the fact that Manchester seemed to never miss and well it was not our night. Also I had not seen our defense so bad all year. Have to give the Hounds a lot of credit for that. And it really pains me to say this because I think Jeff is great but we got out coached tonight. Hate to see these seniors go. I have very much enjoyed watching them. It's been a fun season. Up until tonight.

I'm including SW as well. The SHL is 16-3 in the past 5 or 6 years versus the SOC 1....

The SHL coaches don't want to face each other....the SOC seems to like their chances versus each other. It's every year.....they control the seeding. The SOC 1 is something like 7-23 against the SHL in the sectionals since 2000.

South Webster got credit for their SOS and obtained the #2 seed (no complaints)....but Manchester didn't get any credit for theirs and took the #4 seed.

Everyone knew it all along this season....in some form Manchester, Fairfield, Whiteoak and South Webster would face each other.

When was the last time South Webster or an SHL school was a #1-3 seed and was upset? The SOC 1 has done it each of the past three years....
