hope someone can give you some stats I have to run been waiting since the game ended but all I have heard is 900 commercials..I know they have to get em in but jeesshhh....I do know cook was leading scorer with 26. and Loop had 17 and 13 rebounds and 5 assist and scored his 1,000 point..sutton had 14....congrats to south webser!!

Congrats to the Jeeps!!! Another SOC 2 team advances to the District Finals! The SOC 2 went 3-0 in the District Semifinals. The SOC 1 falls to 0-1, with 3 teams participating in the two games Thursday.

Solid win for the Jeeps. You could tell they were somewhat flat in the first half with a few lapses on defense and struggled with their outside shots. It reminded me of a typical district semi-final game at the Convo for the Jeeps over the years (Southeastern in 2004, South Gallia in 2005, Racine Southern in 2010, Beaver Eastern 2011) where they seem to struggle hitting shots for whatever reason. Levi Cook continued his strong play of late with 26 points and Loop and Sutton were big on the boards and in the paint. Loop off the glass to Sutton for the dunk was pretty nice, hopefully somebody has some video of it. Got to give Symmes Valley credit, they hit shots and were competitive. As young as they are, I'm sure they'll be making a return to trip to the Convo in next few years.

Weird atmosphere for a Convo game...hardly any crowd noise. Guy with us said it reminded him of a summer scrimmage where all you hear is shoes squeaking, the ball bouncing and the coaches' yelling. Also, I hate to be that guy, but it has to be said: $4 for a small SLICE of pizza? Wow! Load up with food/beverages before and after the games if you plan on staying all day on Saturday. But enough about that...it's still the Convo so I can deal with it!*
