As to the "live on a budget" question - neither Barack nor Michele Robinson Obama came from monied families. They "snobishly" considered their education a priority, and put themselves through both college and grad school by simultaneously working, studying, and utilizing student loans. They write in their books that their combined student loan payments exceeded the amount of their mortgage payment when they bought their first house. President Obama wrote 2 best-selling books while holding a job, and Michelle was a gainfully-employed attorney. They paid their own way and undoubtedly struggled at times to meet their budget - they had no RICH DADDY or inherited endowment fund on which to depend - they made their own way. They're in the 1% now by dint of their own efforts and intelligence; but their families and upbringing were definitely in the lower parts of the 99%. President Obama has written and spoken many times about his Christian faith - but you doubt and ridicule his belief.
Well - I doubt YOURS - ALL you xenophobic, homophobic, racist, misogynistic, hateful, judgemental Republicans calling/defining yourselves as the only legitimate Christians are what absolutely drove me out of your church!!

Both the Democratic and the Republican policies of the last 12 years have done nothing to fix the problems but have greatly increased our debt. A million new jobs won't fix the fact that many Americans can no longer keep up with the cost of living. IF ANY of them ever had it rough then they have quickly forgotten the value of a dollar since they no longer have to stretch one. Its all about getting elected. Yeah, Abuck...things are going really great, saw gasoline is back up to $3.95 a gallon this evening. The White House just asked Israel to please delay their attack on Iran till after the ELECTION! We have a lunatic psychopath who apparently murdered 16 innocent people in Afghanistan yesterday and the Taliban and other radical Islamic groups are crying for revenge (which, it's really ironic consider they do this to innocent people all the time) and all of this comes on the heels of the burning of their Korans. Now, American officials are talking about possibly stepping up the withdrawal out of the country which leads me to ask, what the heck did Obama put 30,000 troops in the country to start with? what was his end game here? More coal plants are set to close (all the coal plants together only account for 1/2 of 1% of the total mercury emissions in the air!) in the very near future which will further drive up electric cost. In January, this nation saw the largest amount of imports into this country in history and America has the longest job recession since The Great Depression going on!

We all know that special interest groups run this country. I think this arguing about D's and R's is senseless. Neither one of them stand up for the "principles" they run on. They spend most of their time blaming the other side too. We're just as much to blame as the politicians though. We have this primal group mentality that instinctively puts us on teams. If you complain you can't find a job that's Bullspit! You can't find the job you want and your not willing to take a couple jobs that you may be over qualified for to get by. To many people want everything handed to them instead of going out and rolling up there sleeves and working for it. If people would quit living above there means we wouldn't have to worry about this crap that much!
