Is this another sheltered workshop for rich white kids?
In all seriousness, props for having try outs, unlike the the Southern Ohio White, I mean Southern Ohio Elite.
But do you have sponsors for the the truly underprivileged and/or non-Caucasian?

We are not affiliated in any way with "The SO Elite".

We are an AAU organization in which race has absolutely no bearing on whether you make the team. We do run fundraisers to help any player(s) regardless of ethnic background. We have never denied a capable player the ability to play due to his/her families financial situation. And those things are kept very private as well.

We are looking forward to a great season! Our 9th grade team is STACKED at the moment but we definitely have needs on the 10/11th team. Let me know if we can be of further assistance....

I believe most, if not all parents are willing to help out "ANY" underprivilaged child get to play, if that child has the will, determination and hard work its takes to play AAU ball. To come in and expect to be waited on or treated different is just crazy. There are plenty of people who will sponser, but will the parents be there to support/cheer those kids on while they travel hours from home and stay most weekends in hotels??? I cant tell you how many teams we played last year with little or no one there to support/cheer them on :(. It takes a big commitment emotionally and financially from the players and the parents to do traveling sports of any kind. Commit and be there for your kids and chances are they will be playing....

I can't comment on other programs but The Magic is first class people top to bottom my son played for them last year and I can not say enough about them and the parents of the kids that play we out numbered 90% of the teams in fans all season with most parents not only supporting there children but watching other age groups to cheer them on . It was a very fun summer. And the competition level was awsome at the tournaments we attended .
