Well we got our first one with the resignation at Meigs. I would apply but I'm still holding out for a management position.

This would be a great job for a coach that was ready to retire but just couldn't make himself step away from the game, because after a year of this he would definitely be ready to step down.

They shared it I believe, and that team still underperformed.

Actually, I think Green or Symmes Valley did? But, I know for sure that Clay didn't win it.lightle04 wrote:They won the league the 2010-2011 season thats doing something right.
Re: Confirmed Coaching Openings
Monroe Central HS job opened with the recent resignation of Greg Taylor. Be a great job for someone to apply for with the new school building opening up next school year. This is the ol' Skyvue/Woodsfield consolidation. Have played their games in Skyvue's old gym since consolidation in '93 (i think) and football games in Woodsfield.
Re: Confirmed Coaching Openings
my mail carrier friend from the pomeroy area said that meigs will hire yates from vc. i guess he coached football years back and looking to get back into coaching. if so, that is a big loss for vc, i guess yates has 2 sons who can play.

Heard Lou Tolzda from Beallsville got the job. Any truth to that?surfsider wrote:Monroe Central HS job opened with the recent resignation of Greg Taylor. Re: Confirmed Coaching Openings
The only upper class group that won at Clay for the last four years was not a committed group. Some of the boys wanted it, but not all were willing to work for it. This years team was in most contests they played, but couldn't finish. I think with a hungry young group coming up, and it sounds like the return of a recharged player who sat out last year, Clay will be very competitive for a few years.
