Heard Lou Tolzda from Beallsville got the job. Any truth to that?
yes, I've heard that too, but haven't read anything on that yet. Figured with the new school building opening next fall that'd be a great job. Maybe Tolzda wants to get back into the PVC wars again? He's a good coach with over 300 wins. Beallsville opening could still be a good one for a young coach.

I am Hearing Donnie Saunders of South Gallia may be in the running for this job?
His Brother is either Principal or board president of Symmes Valley.
Something to watch.

Any rumors on applicants? Ironton has several assistants as well as all the young coaches in the surrounding areas.

To the post above...

I know zero people at Symmes Valley. I am simply speculating. He stepped down from his position at Rock Hill with the girls program and then this came open. Just hard to believe that is a coincidence. I have a great deal of respect for Alvin and wish him well in whatever he does, whether that be coach at SV or be a family man.

Coincidence?
I dont think so and vikingguy12 I think has spoke the uguly truth.
SV needs to move foward
not backwards!!!
Will they?
I would like to think there are a few on the board that has the intrest of the school at hand and not any other issues.
Putting an old coach back in the position he was let go from is a slap in the face .....then the cycle continues!!!!
Interviews were yesterday so....we wait.....

If it is, it's a program in a great position to take over. Coach Lisath has built a great program and I'm sure he'll have something pretty nice lined up if he's stepping away.

Waverly is another nice job that's opened.

Find that hard to believe after hearing he had open gym last night. I believe he will have his most talented team coming back with a chance to do something special. Where is it posted...I want to apply
