Sharpie wrote:Made a trip to Chillicothe Monday for their scrimmage against Waverly, great game! Chilli won 7-3. Chillicothe's preseason has been quite impressive at 5-0-1against solid teams like Waverly & Wellston. This team can out right hit the ball! CHS's freshman players, Bri Dawes and Hanna Ray are GOOD, that's all I'm going to say! Chillicothe's pitcher Boullion has been criticized for her speed, but batters can't touch her breaking balls. I never saw a drop ball like hers, so watch what you say, because she'll eat your batters alive.
Watch out SEOAL, Chillicothe has raised the notch this season and will be tough to beat, I Guarantee it!!
well perfect seasons over...
Re: SEOAL - Chillicothe
Yes, Chillicothe won both against Hillsboro. I saw it in the Chillicothe Gazette while visiting my parents house in the area today. Was looking for the Friday Night write up to see comments and view of game expressed. The Gazette said softball game was to late for presstime, but they had Baseball game in it whitch finished about an hour later. Oh well!!!

Warren is looking much better halfway into the season than they did early on. They are 12-2 right now and really stepping up at the plate. We will see if they can continue...

Re: SEOAL - Chillicothe
From the games i've been at the Ironladies are doing much better than most people had expected. This is great since they had a lot to replace due to the seniors from last years team graduating. I believe the starting pitcher, first base and short stop. What do the Ironladies have in the lower grades?
Re: SEOAL - Chillicothe
The Ironladies did lose a shortstop(Emileigh Cooper--Playing @ Marshall), pitcher(Jess Apsley -- 3 year starter), and 1st base(Beth King --2 year starter). Very quality young adults. This years regular starters around the horn are: Pitcher - Fr : Catcher - So : 1B - Jr : 2B - Jr : 3B - Sr : SS - So : Lf - Sr : Cf - Sr : Rf - Fr :
DP - So : #2 P - So : #3 P - Fr :
Centerfielder- 2nd year fulltime starter , Leftfielder - 1st year fulltime starter , 3B - 1st year starter.
THIS TEAM HAS GREAT HEART, NEVER QUITATTITUDE AND VERY COACHABLE KIDS.
Oh, and the head coach has assistance coaches that make up for his lack of ability
"GREAT IRONLADIES CHEMISTRY"
Go Ironladies
