Warren baseball - beat place to watch?

O.k. - maybe watch - but not suitable for tournament games ... Unless our 12 year olds need a little league field to play on ...

Completely agree about not playing post season there. Just a great venue for watching. Right field is the length of everywhere else and center is deeper than most high school parks. Sometimes a routine pop up to left is a dinger but I have seen a lot of line drives that would clear other fences that hit the wall and become a long single.

Back to softball:

Wow, Jackson can't be happy.

Marietta gets the long road trip, as does SP if they win play in game.

This was a tough sectional to seed! You have a few teams(coaches) voting that haven't seen or played each other. Everyone in different leagues. OH, AND BASED ON WHERE I SEED SOMEONE, I CAN DICTATE "WHO PLAYS WHO"!!! Lets go back to seeding the teams, then based on your seed, you pick in that order of where you decide to go on the board... This culd keep coaches from teaming up and blackballing others. The lower seed can pick who he wants to have a shot at.

Jackson should be disappointed, but they beat #1, #4, #5, & #6 teams in this sectional.

Oh by the way, top to bottom --- this sectional seeding was almost funny --- HOW many sectionals have a 5 & 6 seed with 15 or more WINS? --- Wait, some teams haven't played but just 15 or 16 games? How does that happen this spring with little rain?

Please continue to post scores ... Because the draw takes place before the season is overwith - the brackets/records will not be accurate ... I will continue to update records so a team/fan can have an actual account of the team they are facing ...

Everyone needs to just get over it.... Any team that gets a home game shouldn't be complaining.... When coaches are allowed to vote they vote in a way that will be advantageous to them.. Your best teams usually advance anyways...

Hey 93... Athens & Gallia play this week in a reg season game.. Neither team should pitch there #1 player...... We also play in BB..... Probably should have played earlier in the season with the winner being the #1 seed..... Seeding is not that important in my mind...Remember what happened in BB last year.....LOL

Gallipolis was ahead of South Point 7-0 late in this evening's game at Gallipolis. If the blue Angels won, they are 19-7 on the season.

I believe, weather permitting, Warren Local will be traveling to Unioto for a great post season tune up game on Wednesday May 9th. I'm looking forward to this game between 2 of the better D2 teams in the area.
