Halfway through the SEOAL season:

Jackson/Gallia Academy/Warren all 4-1

Logan 2-3
Chillicothe 1-4
Portsmouth 0-5

The upperhand goes to Gallia Academy as they still face Jackson and Warren at home. Warren has been rolling as the season has moved along but faces Jackson and Gallia Academy on the road. Jackson travels to Gallia but gets Warren at home.

Not at all lost in this is that Chillicothe, Portsmouth and Logan all have the necessary parts to upset any of those 3. Gallia Academy almost fell victim....but prevailed like they almost always do. Chillicothe has excellent hitters and if Riley keeps you off-balanced they could knock off any of the big 3 fairly easily IMO. Portsmouth at 0-5 is ridiculously deceiving. They also can really hit the ball and their defense is greatly improved.....facing them after facing a few power pitchers in a row could be the ingredients for an upset. Logan surprised me by beating Chillicothe and even Portsmouth so they obviously have that upset ability.

Big games upcoming this week. I believe Gallia Academy hosts Warren this Wednesday....winner will have the upperhand and control their own destiny the rest of the way. Warren right now is probably playing the best but at Gallia with Ward on the hill....as stated....the SEOAL goes thru Gallia Academy.

Jackson hosts Portsmouth Wed and travels to Chillicothe Friday.....must play well to win!

The SEOAL is strong and from top to bottom is as close as ever.

You said it all 92. Halfway thru and we are no closer to crowning a champion. The league goes thru GAHS until proven otherwise. Wish I could be there tomorrow night when the Blue Angels host the Lady Warriors.
