ND at Greenup Co . GC is pretty strong , recently shut out Russell 5-0 . They are top 3-4 in the 16th region for sure out of 16 teams .

GC is a team that swings the bat that is for sure. ND defense needs to be ready and bats for ND need to start before the 4th innining.

Nice game by Athens. Both pitchers benefitted from a large strike zone and Athens had enough to muster 3 runs on 3 past balls. Jackson's catcher was out due to sickness. Athens pitcher threw an excellent game and the defense was solid. Jackson had 2nd and 3rd in the 7th but a hard grounder was not up the middle enough and Athens SS made a nice play to end it.

Athens is off to a stellar week by beating 13-1 Wellston and 11-2 Jackson (records at the time of play)

Jackson continues it's brutal schedule at Gallipolis tomorrow, at Waverly on Thursday and home versus Warren on Friday.

The sectional in D2 is also killer....top 6 teams in no particular order: Jackson, Warren Local, Gallia Academy, Unioto, Athens, Waverly
