Jackson led 3-0 after the 1st inning and then a tough break, Wellston drilled some shots, errors, sun....just wouldn't end. Wellston had excellent at bats and hit the ball where it was pitched. The game had 5 or 6...maybe 7 HR. 20-30mph blowing out and the balls were flying out. I don't remember very many ground balls. Jackson hit the ball pretty well and had some good rally opportunities but made 3 outs on the bases down 7+ runs.

Homeruns

Jackson...Whitney Wills smacked a 2-strike pitch over the CF fence for her first career

Wellston....Hall, Long, McManaway, Folden (9th?), the catcher...maybe another

Jackson needs to bounce back tomorrow at Logan to clinch the SEOAL outright.
