Thundercamps youth softball camp coming to Beaver, OH

This is one of the major & by far best camps throughout our entire area.
If you are looking for improvement for your youth softball player in any area or level of the game, this camp is a definit benifit.

Parents & coaches are welcome to attend & take notes & learn at no charge. Just ask that everyone please observe only & let the camp be run by the camp officials.

July 9th & 10th (Times will be in the daytime starting at 9:00AM)

Pitching & Hitting - $100
Hitting only - $45

What to Bring? Glove, bat, appropriate shoes & clothing.
· All Pitchers should provide their own catcher.

· Catchers will receive defensive instruction and drills


The Staff: Staff includes successful former college players and current and former high school coaches.
Student Coach Ratio – Approximately 10 – 1 ratio gives maximum personal instruction during drill sessions.

Who Should Attend? Ages 8 – 18 who are serious about fastpitch softball pitching and hitting.
There is no additional charge for catchers to attend the pitching session. Catchers who want to participate in the hitting camp should sign up for the hitting only camp.

What college players and coaches are committed to the camp?

I do not know for sure of the complete staff that they are bringing as of yet.
I do know that Coach Hendricks will for sure be there. From the Thundercamp website about him:
After six years as a varsity softball coach in Ohio, Coach Hendricks compiled a record of 149-30. He led his team to six straight 20 win seasons, including a trip to the State Finals.
Career Highlights
• 5 Sectional Titles
• 2 Regional Titles
• 2 League Titles
• 2001 team holds the state record for most hits in a season
• 2001 District Coach-of-the-year
• 2002 and 2003 League Coach-of-the-Year
Coach Hendricks has been conducting camps and clinics for more than 10 years.
Also, I know that Jordan McKinley from Bethel College will be one of the staff that will be there for pitching instruction.
