Hiland hammered Stubenville Central Catholic 12-2 tonight to advance. Does anyone know anything about Hiland? I know they are traditionally a very strong sports school and are coming off a state hoops title in March. The Indians will have to hit the ball a lot better to advance to the final.

Hiland has a steep baseball tradition. They made it to the D IV state finals in 2008 and finished second. The last two years they have made it to their district finals.

I watched Valley play Wednesday and I would say they have just as good of a chance as any of the teams in Lancaster to make it to the final 4. IMO all four teams Southern, Newark Catholic, Hiland and Valley are very evenly matched.

i guess if anyone is really counting the final score of the steubenville cath. game was 16-2 iwas there. the hawks are loaded with speed when they get on base,they can really drive good pitchers nuts.kaufman boy who was the mvp at d4 basketball state tour. is batting over 600.

Tough loss...but congrats to the Indians on a district title and making the Regional the second straight year. Seniors have had a great few years in all sports!

I wonder how good Hiland would be in football if they ever started it?
They are good in basketball and baseball most of the time.
