Athens has an impressive non-league schedule... Nelsonville York playing Logan will also be an interesting matchup....

Is Wahama's schedule complete or do they only play 8 games?

They play 10 - but their season doesn't start until Ohio's second week ... Wahama's season opener is versus Trimble, who will be playing its second game of the season.

(I just havn't got the White Falcons complete schedule yet ... I'm sure a game with Buffalo will be on their somewhere.)

Whats the Hocking gonna look like this year.
Will Eastern or Waterford be able to challenge?
How about Fed Hock or Belpre?

Maybe South Gallia O & B ... I know they lost their QB (Haner) and the Matney brothers - but they have some other pieces coming back from a team that went 7-3 last year. When it comes to the Hocking, it just seems that part of the league is moving faster and faster toward being a 'basketball' and 'baseball' oriented league ... If Wahama drops off the pace, then were left again with total domination by the Tomcats and the rest of the teams will be gearing up for hoops season.

93,
I hope that South Gallia or someone can step up and challenge Wahama and Trimble for the league title this year. It's always nice to have 3 or 4 teams still in the hunt after week 7 or 8. I am trying to figure out how many trips home I can make this fall to watch football. It's just not the same here in KY.
Baseball is pretty awesome down here though. I get to watch Madison Central kick but all the time. They rested there starters in the district Championship game! lol.......

Trimble takes a step back and still finishes (8-2).

Only losses to Nelsonville-York and possibly Meigs.

Copy this post and print it - I want you guys coming back on here and accusing me of having a crystal ball!

Wellston will be much more competitive in the Ohio this year. Their w-L record may not show it, but they will be much improved. I this this may be the last year for NY to possibly win the TVC for a few seasons. Much of their talent after this upcoming season will be in the junior high or incoming freshman. Wellston could win it or be second for a couple years after this year.

I think its important to state what "taking a step back" means at NY. It doesn't mean 0-10 seasons. It doesn't even mean 5-5 seasons. I can count on one hand the number of losing seasons NY has had in the last 30 years. Even in a "down year", NY will still most likely not have a losing record and will still finish in the top 3 of the TVC OHIO. Most of the years NY didn't win the TVC, the Buckeyes finished in second or third place. NY is never in the cellar looking up at everyone. A down season at NY is not winning the TVC or making the playoffs.

I agree. NY has high standards. There are still good players there, but talent like last year and this upcoming year are at the lower levels. 7-3 or 6-4 is realistic after this season until those groups come along g

Your Welcome,

Any time you need a schedule involving a WV school,
just ask,
I have most of them long before the WVSSAC website ever does.

Is there any truth to 3 kids failing drug tests and being booted from the team already acrossed the river? I just heard that today from my buddy that lives there.
