Re: Official District 8 American legion topic
Anyone know anything about Gallipolis tournament next week? Where are games played? Schedule? Can't find any info online...thanks
Re: Official District 8 American legion topic
Watched Athens defeat Meigs in the first game of a doubleheader on Sunday. Casey Grimm had four hits, including a homerun and a triple. Chris Ford, Austin Howard and Tanner Wood all had homeruns. I think the final score was 9-4, but I was talking to the Meigs Legionaires when Athens scored in the 9th so I'm not positive on the score.

that score is correct coach.....P21 also takes the 2nd game 13 to 2. Casey Grimm took the first pitch of the 2nd game out as well. it was a good day for the young men of P21

Nice job today. Team seems to be coming around. Well played defensively and timely hitting with good power numbers.

Great job P21. It does look like things are turning around. Is there a schedule and list of teams for the July 4th tournamnet yet? It's always a nice tournament. Thanks in advance.

With all those pitchers being used yesterday ... Who the heck do we have left to pitch today?
How many innings has Grimm pitched in the tourney?
Has J.D. pitched this season at all?

Re: Official District 8 American legion topic
unfortunately the P21 season came to a close tonight with a 12 to 11 loss to Lancaster. I just want to thank all the young men who allowed me the pleasure of coaching them this summer. I had a great time with you boys and I wish you all the best in your futures!!!

Tough loss. It's always difficult to win at Lancaster. Good season and I hope everybody comes back next year. Often times the best season follows a tough season...
