I heard the same thing from the last owner.
At least this one comes to the games! :-D

Randy Lerner didn't come to many Browns games, too busy with his soccer team.

Now that we have an owner that will go to NFL meetings, we don't need Holmgren anymore.

The start of something better is about to embark on Cleveland.

Ironically, here is a story on this subject regarding Randy and the Walrus.

Belichick was boring too. The media hated him in the 90s. Think they'd take him back as coach today?

Yea that's true at least the new guy has a lot to say,you are lucky to get 3 sentences out of belichick but when you win multiple superbowl's I guess you can get by with that.

I don't have a good feeling about today's game...which means of course the Browns will probabaly win.

Nope, should have gone with my first instinct. Penalties, mistakes, questionable play calling and one heartbreaking pass drop doomed the Browns today. The new owner was present and passionately into the game, witness his reaction to the dropped pass. More telling was his reaction to Shurmur palying it safe and punting with 6 minutes left on a 4th and 1 inside Colts territory. Pat didn't earn any "Brownie Points" with Jimmy on that call.

Yep I thought it would be a letdown, poor josh gordon makes that tough catch last week and then drops an easy one on yet another beautiful pass from weeden, that two games I remember now that potential game winning touchdown passes have been dropped, the defense really struggled today although they were a little better in the second half, the penalty on dqwell jackson and the missed tackle by sheldon brown were killers, tough loss for the brownies!

I really like this Gordon kid, but I just got SICK when he dropped that go-ahead score.

It would have been Weeden's 10th TD to go along with 10 INTs this season (10 and 6 since the opener). And maybe even a win.

Welcome to Cleveland, Mr Haslam.

I now fear the Browns will progress sufficiently to win some unexpected games, lose frustratingly in others, move down in the draft order and present a muddled picture at season's end so that a clear path forward is not apparent to Haslam and comapny.

As was apparent to anyone watching the game yesterday, Trent Richardson was not himself with the rib injury. He never played again after the second quarter. Now word is he may sit until after the bye week. I don't think he ever really recovered from his knee surgeries. He may not be up to prime status until next year. He couldn't cut or accelerate and that's not completely becuase of his ribs. Sit him until he can contribute 100%.

I had a feeling Richardson would be injury plagued before the season started, these big strong bulldozing backs always get hurt now days and end up missing a lot of games, better off having the weaker scat backs who try to avoid contact.

Somebody should have told the Chargers it was just a suggestion, not official.

With Richardson ailing, teams are going to start focusing more on Weeden. More blitzes, more hits, more risks.

And more big-play possibilities.

Let's get one for Jimmy at home. Hope Mr. Haslam likes barking.

There might not be two coaches in the NFL with bleaker prospects than these two. San Diego travels to the eastern time zone so they aren't awake at kickoff. If Celeveland can start fast, they win. This might be one of the last games that are winnable for the Brownies this year. Of course, on any given Sunday......

Still got K.C. and Brady Quinn Dazed, that might be the most winnable game of all,but knowing the browns it won't be easy

I just feel all the rookies are a few games away from putting together a pure, solid win. When or if it will happen is anybody's guess but I feel they are close to blowing someone out unexpectedly.
