Kentucky Crush Try-Outs Announced

Kentucky Crush will be forming five teams for the 2012-2013 softball season. This will include teams at the 8U, 9U, 10U, 11U and 12U levels. Our season runs from our Fall League in September through next July. Crush teams won championships in 9 out of 10 tournaments we entered this past season and medaled in every tournament we competed in. If you are interested in joining a winning organization and playing competitive softball please see the schedule below for tryout date and times.

When: August 18
Time: (Length of tryout times will vary depending on number of girls in attendance):
8U: 10:00 A.M. (Field #3)
9U: 10:00 A.M. (Field #2)
10U: 10:00 A.M. (Field #1)
11U: 11:30 A.M. (Field #2)
12U: 11:30 A.M. (Field #1)

Where: South Shore Little League Complex in South Shore, Kentucky

Comments: Our teams will be fielding 12 players this season. Bring copy of birth certificate to try-out.

We have a good response to our tryout posting and there have been a few questions asked that I wanted to answer here. First, we do not charge for the tryout. If you are not able to provide your birth certificate at the try-out, you can provide it to us at a later date but we do need a copy before we play in the Fall league or any sanctioned tournaments. The team fee for the 2012-2013 season is $350 which includes 3 uniforms, batting helmet, backpack bat bag and all tournament and league games that we participate in. We do have payment options available. Once you are assigned to one of our teams you will not be cut or otherwise removed from the team, unless you have broken a team conduct rule. We DO NOT charge parents for each tournament we go to. Your team fees and fundraising that we do covers all tournament registration fees. Background checks are completed on all of our coaches and volunteers and all coaches are First Aid and CPR certified. Most of the tournaments we participate in are within a couple of hours from the Portsmouth, Ohio area. However, if we qualify for a World Series tournament we may travel much further.
