Re: 2012 Boy's Scores
Warren 1
Chillicothe 2
Tough, physical match. Numerous fouls on both teams, made possession by either team difficult. Only only one caution handed out.
Chillicothe controlled the game the majority of the first half and took a 2-0 lead into halftime. Had some great chances to put Warren away early but couldn't take advantage of opportunities.
The first 20 minutes of the second half was pretty evenly played, but Warren dominated the last 20 minutes of play and put a lot of pressure on the Cavs. Warren was awarded a PK with 45 seconds left and cashed it in.
Chillicothe now stands at 6-2-1 overall and 4-1 in the SEOAL.
Next up: At waverly Saturday evening, 6 PM varsity start

Marietta over Granville 3-2 tonight in their first home game of the year on their game field. Good win for the young Tigers.

West is actually 3-5-2. Not a huge difference but OSSCA is missing the Piketon game.a_c_m wrote:Come on Pointers............post your score tonight.............Pointers lost to Gallia Academy (1-4-1) 1-0.soccerparent wrote:South point boys team (5-1-1) won 3-0 over ironton st. joe, due to the brilliance of they're teams captain Michael Lien and assistance from his brother as well, these kids could break down any defence from what i have seen

Anyone know Burgs record?
In my opinion, I like the changes that was made last night in the game against Falcons. Pirates may have lost, but I am betting the stats will show they had more goal attempts.

Re: 2012 Boy's Scores
Peebles over Ripley 10-1.
Peebles looked good and had a starting field player out but you wouldn't know it. Ripley was missing the regular keeper due to an injury but he is supposed to be back soon. Without the regular keeper they gave up some good but save-able goals.

Re: 2012 Boy's Scores
The amount of times ZT has been scored on this way since their turnaround in 05 in unbelievable! Their keeper always patrols the top of the box and is usually very aggressive and sometimes it burns them by being massively out of position.jazzhands88 wrote:is it true the Pirates equalized on a clearance from a defender at midfield??? It's always awesome to get a goal that way too, big momentum changer.
