Good first soccer post. Wish I could have been at the game but my schedule wouldn't allow it for this. Unioto is now 11-3 with senior night on Thursday in which they will celebrate some outstanding young ladies and a couple of very important pieces who have only played for a short time but I know the coaches and fans of the soccer program appreciate their hard work and dedication.

The tanks had the early lead but the cavs offense was just too
Much for Unioto to over come.

X, don't know what game you were watching. True Chilly scored 3 goals - 2 were off free kicks - the first just before the end of the first half which was, in my opinion, a horrible call. Not blaming the ref's - Chilly won fair and square. Their defense and Conaway played great. We had several chances early but did not convert - we must convert those in the tourney - but you will have that with a freshman and sophomore up front.

Very proud of our team - there is a lot of soccer left to play.

They played the first half of this game a month ago, in which Ripley outscored West 2-0 , but weather suspended it until Monday. West played the 2nd half without several starters on the field.

West's first girl's senior night and they got the win.

An aways tough Jackson Ironladies ballclub came into Minford last night and defeated Minford on senior night 3-1.

Athens wins the trip to Hillsboro by winning 2-1 at Marietta. Marietta scored with 5 min left to cut the final deficit to one, and raise the intensity level to the end.

Minford (8-8) defeated Chesapeake 4-3 in overtime to capture at Division III Sectional Title and move on to district play.

Minford finished their 10th season in girls soccer with a loss to Zane Trace 6-1.
Lady Falcons finish with a 8-9 record and say goodbye to 10 seniors. Looking forward to next season.
