Three wins were against poor programs. Piketon beat Waverly in a rival game. Adena lost to a team that only won one game last year. Westfall and Zane Trace did not come close against average at best teams this season. Huntington got smashed by Notre Dame.

Zane Trace had struggled mightily to Beat Rock Hill in week one the last few years and the Redmen were REAL bad most of that time.
Adena lost a kid who was responsible for well over half of their points last year if I'm not mistaken and McClain returned quite a few people from last year + they're a bigger school and usually beat Adena even though they usually finish with a worse record.

Adena is 7-2 against McClain since 2003 including last night's loss.

Looking at some of those scores, it looks like it's usually a very close game with the exception of last year. McClain is a bigger school, too, so that gives them an advantage.

When Adena plays River Valley, a team that was 2-8 last year, you will see that all 1 and 2 win teams are not created equal. :122249
