question about youth age and license

my soon to 17 yr old daughter ( Oct BD) went this am before the crack of dawn to Jackson oh to some type of hunters ed. My question -- she said she already bought her license so why does she need an addt ' course or certification. And it's a two day thing , sat and sunday. Was this mandatory ? I leave the details of hunting to my father in law and he doesnt always get the facts straight. MD

Does She have Her regular Hunting Lic. or Does She have Her apprentice Lic.? If its her Apprentice Lic. She still has to take Huer Safty Course

You can buy a new hunter or apprentice licenses 2 or 3 times to see if you are really wanting to hunt and like it. If you want to continue you have to take the course and pass it

Its 3 times. thats what I was asking maybe She got Her apprentice lic.

I learned more about it yesterday. She def LOVES to hunt , goes nearly every weekend. I just didnt know this was a one time thing . She did get a regular license . MD
