Oopps..the 1198 has an 800 x 600 = 480,000
5inch 798 640 x 640 = 409,600 pixels

Not nearly as much difference in screen size considering pixels as you'd think there would be

Well I done it, ordered the Humminbird 998! Wrestled with it like crazy but after I did I am at peace with the decision and really excited about the arrival!
