Maybe it's time he gets more reps. I still believe he's the best option. As for Meigs, Jacob Sheets looks much improved and so poised. What do you know, he's a freshman. Meigs was the better team regardless I believe, but RV just rolled over in this one. I think they spent too much energy during all of the build up for this thing. Also, tge facility will be nice when it's actually complete. IMO SG got tHe better end of the deal and overall has a much nicer setting for their facility.
my first time seeing the raiders this year, since the jamboree, well!
the field is fine and rv press box is 2 times as big as sg's, other than that the fields are identical?? hardway needs to be starting and most of the sr's need to be benched or take a check and see if they have a set of nuts! the de on the right side of the offense (big basketball player) lost contain about 5 times,i saw him making excuses to the coaches. kyle brown really looked good any idea how many yards he had? rv actualy was driving to tie and fumbled around the 10 and meigs looked gassed in the 2nd qtr.the one corner (sr) gives up a big play every week from what i was told?? meigs will struggkle to win
3 games rv let a chance to get a win in this series get away, what about the defense? i know the bradley
kid was out lewis withdrew from RV,headded to gallia academy but he will not be able to play sports this year there. well i got up on all the gossip while i was in bidwell. same old

I just meant that SG had a nicer setting and things seemed a little more spread out. Plus, their facility is 100% complete. Doesn't Austin live in the GA attendance area? You are dead on about everything you said. I think the RV coaches are doing great and setting these kids up to win, but the players have to get it done. I mentioned on this site that blowing out SG would be bad for RV because they would ride that high for so long and they would feel like they had done something great and completely lose focus moving forward. I really am not trying to bash these kids, but I just saw this coming with the attitudes following that game. The good news is, they have 7 more games to go and they can still get that focus and have a good season. And I also agree about Dayton. He's so impressive to me. Whobrey could make a solid slot receiver and still contribute a lot.

I agree, I think RV really blew this game. I believe they have a more physical team than Meigs. Kyle Brown had a great game offensive & only seems to get better each week. I would just love to see this team "ALL" come together at the same time! I truly think they would be a very dominate force.....

I totaly agree RV gave this one away. I believe RV had the stronger team. Kyle Brown had a great game offensively & just keeps getting better each week. Just wish the rest of the team would "ALL" come together. That would make for a dominant team!

Good night for Brown running the ball. Oline must have had a good game too.

@mojo, so you're saying it's the coaches fault that Lewis WD from school and went to GA?

I dont know all the details , but I do know as a coach (as should you) you have to shoulder some of the responsibilty for players leaving your program . Maybe the AD should step in & take a look @the state of the program... Oh wait thats the same person !! I know the AD isnt the football coach , but we all know where the real problem is

tell us mojo how many have jumped ship? as far as i know 1 austin lewis!! mojo i was always told if you don't have facts shut up!
so as usual you rant about you hate jordan hill the ad. austin lewis is a kid who never goes to weightlifting, never shows up for practice sessions,he was allowed to quit last year after 1 practice then come back in about week 4? i learned a lot last night about the situation and not many parents or students had sympathy for austin lewis,he left gallia academy after the 8th grade because his mom thought he got a bad deal and a huge fight with the coaches, nothing new. imho last night what i saw almost every senior on that team needs benched prob 2or 3 should be on the starting line up,they are not disciplined. i think they should go young now with exception of #15,#40,#20 and i think the center is the only sr on the line which did a great job blocking last night, the freshman qb has passed the sr he's just better
meigs might win 3 games rv to a man was the better looking team meigs had 2 good backs, that's it! the qb threw 2 hail mary's that the sr db blew coverage on that is a mistake (not going in and taking it lol) prob the most uninformed poster on seop> mojo

I agree. Meigs came to play. I had them winning in a close one, but not in the fashion they did it in. In that sense, RV just absolutely did not give themselves a chance to even compete.

River Valley may win another game. Maybe. Sorry, but after all the hype and enthusiasm I truly expected better.

first of all i am not a rv fan i just went to that game to see how meigs and rv looked,i saw 2 pretty even matched teams,rv made more mistakes and had chances to stay in the game but either fumbled, blew coverage on 4th and 25 from the 50.the brown kid was the best football player on the field,
meigs made the plays they needed to make but they were able to because rv made mistakes.

mojo is too dumb to read a post he just shoots off his mouth with out thinking,or maybe he cant read. i noticed he got off the lewis subject because he didn't have a clue what he was talking about. just a chance to bash someone.

once again meigs will win maybe 3 games?? want to bet mojo?

they can get better and athletically they are not that bad, they need to go to the young qb now and need to play the young players. some freshmen and most sophomores very talented, can you imagine in a couple years if these kids keep the attitudes they have how good they can be,the sr's are the last class of the old school and old thinking! but imho the coaches need to stop begging kids like the lewis kid to play and play the kids who are dedicated because they have work ethic and want to get better,
