Re: Week Five: Oak Hill (4-0) at Minford (4-0)
I don't count any team out on any given Friday. I think this will be the toughest game for both teams so far with both being 4-0. I have seen a lot of heart in this Minford team this season. These boys have stepped up and I have seen improvement in each game they have played. Haven't heard much about Oak Hill, but since they are undefeated too they are no slouch team either.
Look for Minford to pull this one out.
Good Luck to my Mighty Minford Falcons!!!

Not sure what I feel about about the Oaks or the Falcons. Both have played a perfect season so far. Though both have played a very soft schedule. With the exception of Piketon which is 2-2 but still not a GREAT win. I think Minford wins, but I do not think that the SOC or southern Ohio has an identity of how good or bad these teams really are. Sad to say I think the only way this season the Oaks get recognition is to beat Ironton. Minford, Needs to beat the 3 teams on your schedule with a winning record or you will drop FAST from the rankings. No secondary points!

Minford can go 8-2 and cruise into the playoffs IMO.. however I do not think that will happen. :122249 . Neurton Man, are you a valley supporter? Sorry if I am mistaken, but if you are, a valley fan talking about a soft schedule thus far? are you kidding me?Neutron Man wrote:Not sure what I feel about about the Oaks or the Falcons. I have heard that Oak Hill is a very physical team. They play very good defense. We will find out tonight how physical they are and if their defense is good enough to stop a wing t offense that is putting up sick rushing yards this year.
Should be a good game. If Minford eliminates the silly mistakes, comes out ready to play and protects the football, they will be fine.

Far from it! Why would you think I have ties to Valley?

Minford has 18. Still not great, its a little under the average right now in Reg 15 as far as the top 8.
And Minford has a 99% chance of making the playoffs with 8 wins and 72% with 7 wins. Valley has to get 8 wins to make it in and that is not for a guaranteed spot.
Oak Hill has a better chance right now of making the playoffs than Valley does, and that is taking in to account they lose tonight at Minford.

Why is it Valley is coming up in an Oak Hill @ Minford thread? Are we that big of a threat?
Minford still has 6 weeks before they have to worry about Valley or our "VERY WEAK" schedule. The only difference in our schedules so far is Minford has played Piketon and Valley has played Coal Grove (who is still a very good team, and who will probably win out after tonight and win their league again) still alot of football to be played.

You better hope 8-2 will get you in. Because thats what you'll be if you can get by Oak Hill, which i believe you will.NewEra wrote:Minford can go 8-2 and cruise into the playoffs IMO.. however I do not think that will happen. :122249 . 8-2 will get Minford in, not like Valley with their non-conference, no chance at 7-3/8-2.nutronron2012 wrote:You better hope 8-2 will get you in.
