Re: Week 4 (4-0) Ashland Ky @ (3-0) Ironton
We need a good week of practice, our Defense will have to pick it up a notch to stop Ashlands Offense and we'll have to get pressure on their QB or he'll pick us apart. Our Offense is going to have to do a better job also or it's going to be a long night.

I THINK THAT THE FIGHTING TIGERS ARE COMING INTO THIS GAME STILL FINDING AN IDENTITY. I THINK THEY STILL HAVE NOT PLAYED THEIR BEST FOOTBALL YET.
we simply must have better line play on both sides of the ball. and better secondary play.we are getting gutted up the middle by every opponent.maybe more stunts and blitzes. but the tackling is becoming a bigger issue it seems.tackle people low and wrap up. our offensive line is not sustaining their blocks well either. absolutely too much pressure on our qb, and running backs. we are loaded with seniors, virtually half the team. we must do the fundamentals better, to beat an always tough tomcat team.but we are 3-0. for a reason, we are playing good hardnosed football, against very good quality teams.with a first year head coach. we will have to play our best football against the tomcats this week.because things get really tough the further you get into this schedule.
the remainder of our schedule is
ashland
portsmouth
johnson central
bishop watterson
bishop hartley
oak hill
IT'S CRAZY THAT WE ARE INTO WEEK 4 ALREADY.

well that's funny , we had a heap of flags tossed at us at home last week. this rivalry don't need no hoopla, it's always a slobberknocker.

I'm going with Ironton in this one! They'll want to secure a playoff spot early on in the season, and that's this game. Ironton 26--Ashland 21

Re: Week 4 (4-0) Ashland Ky @ (3-0) Ironton
Ironton 27-Ashland 18 Ironton will protect the ball and show a few suprises at Ashland. The G.A. game will serve as a wake up call to Ironton and be a bad sign for Ashland

What's up all you tiggers. Glad to see Ironton fans are referring to this as a rivalry now that Ashland has won 2 out of 3. Anyways I went to the Russell game and this is the best Ironton offense I've seen in years. I do think your defense is beatable though so I expect I hi scoring game. Also go to www.bluegrassrivals.com if you want to jaw with some tomcats. Like this site it is also free.
My prediction
Ashland 35
Tiggers 21
Ashland gets there first win in tank since 1990
