sider wrote:More than likely, win these next 2 games. I think we will see how good Minford is tomorrow against Portsmouth. If West can get over the hump against a talented Minford team, the championship game will probably be in week 10 at Ed Miller stadium, if not 4-6/5-5 at best. However, the people that have been around this team knows they are talented, last years senior class was very talented and probably underappreciated, but the current senior class definitely played a major role in going 10-2. This team is better than .500 and I think they will get there.
Do you mean your guys' stadium? We play West week 10 at West this year and no matter what the records are, its always a fun game to watch!

And your point is? A cocky presumption, coming from you, that doesn't surprise me! On point, GOOD LUCK WEST tonight and the rest of the season. Looking forward to watching you guys play week 7.

WK #s 5,6,7,8,and 10 will not be an easy task for the Siders ! Not saying they wont be playing for a championship in WK- 10 but they face some stiff competition ! Waverly and Peake might even give them some heartburn moments !

The only team in the SOC west will beat is maybe northwest. First they have to get past rock hill....

Why do we not attempt to kick the field goals when it's 4th and long. We did it 3 times tonight and didn't convert any for a 1st down. That's what you got the kid for. Let him do it. It could cost us later not getting him the experience when you can.

Good win for West. It may only be Rock Hill, but it seems this is what they need.....some confidence to work with.

West can still improve throughout the year and become a tough win for their SOC II opponents.

Agree 100%. Been impressed with Zach Dials kicking the ball so far 1-1 fgs and I think he is perfect on extra points, so if we are 4th and long inside 45 yards let him kick it. It could be huge down the road.
I know it was Rockhill but we did look better, tackling was alot better. We need to cut down on the penalties and turnovers. We probably had 10 or 12 penalties and 5 or 6 turnovers again lastnight, those two things are a killer. We need to clean that up bad. Sure feels good to get a win.

This fumbling the football has to stop. It cost us the Portsmouth game and the number last night was rediculous. Almost becomes contagious.

Good to get a win. Still have alot to clean up before SOC play. But I like the direction of this really young team. Irwin is doing a heck of a job. Hope we keep letting him chuck it.
