For my money in three different matches....

Eastern Pike is just the top team around. Chillicothe and South Webster are very good, but South Webster was more solid against Jackson. You could tell Chillicothe was making more unforced errors than usual. I imagine both will continue to be 2 of the top dozen teams in the district. Both were well coached and fun to watch.

Clay is pretty dang good..... Exchange student from Italy ( at least thats what I was told ) is very very good , best player on a very solid team . They have good size with three 6 ft or aboves plus the exchange kid leaps like a guy. Dont think they could challenge Eastern but the new kid puts them above the rest of the pack .

Nobody touches Beaver in SOC I.Then, Clay may be above the pack in the rest of the SOC I, maybe, but nowhere else. Not a knock on Clay, just the truth.

No. Clay is 8-2. Lost to eastern, not much of match. Lost to Waverly 23-25, 24-26. Has defeated the other soc I teams in first half of play also def southeastern.

Good record. But no need to be mentioned on this post.

Is it true they have only dropped two sets this season. One to Westfall and one to the Mighty Sherman's of UNIOTO?

Zane Trace is having a great season so far. But the SVC is so tough, they could still finish away from the top. Must stay consistent and they can capture the title!

With the exception of the last game vs Adena all of the big match-ups left on the Lady Pioneers SVC schedule is Home. A huge advantage for ZT and their quest for SVC Gold.

I say they have an 80% or better chance of running the table. I would bump that up to90% if I knew for sure the SVC Sports Zone jinks was not going to come into play this season.......
