Seems like the whole area is down on us. I know we have a couple bad losses, but we are better than our record. The changes they've made the last couple weeks have really helped. I don't think we lose to fairland or Portsmouth with the lineup as it is now. We will go toe to toe with every team in this league.
Its very easy to be down on us right now. Quite frankly, I hope they stay down us. Its not always bad to start slow. Yes, those first two losses were very, very bad ones, but when ever this group gets it together they could be a playoff-caliber team. Even when we are not the best, we are always a tough out.

Really good points! From the games ive seen that really seems to be major issues. We clean up those areas and we are a very solid football team.

West definately has the players....and the talent this year to have a 4-0 start! but for some reason (who really knows???) they are NOT working together to make things happen! WOW! they beat rock hill....whoopty doo....who hasnt? west shouldve beat them by ALOT! so you really cant say you have your guys and your act together just yet off of last weeks game! Come on siders and get it together! I hope you win the rest of your games up until your last week in regular season! GO PIRATES!!!

Not that 1 kid can make a difference to a team, but I feel that once the Scott boy is released the team will come together more. Having your big guy on the team out, plus the fact that he's a senior had to be a let down for the team. Having him and Reynolds have made a difference to this team, that's 2 big kids that would have most likely played both sides of the ball. No doubt in my mind the team isn't loaded with talent, it's just a matter of getting the right chemistry on the field to make it work. Let's go boys let's finish strong.

I believe we fumbled 3 times inside the red zone and their only score came on a fumble inside our own 5. So the game easily could have been 50+ to nothing if we just stop fumbling the ball.

I've been seeing progression with this team week by week. Coaches seem to be getting the boys where they need to be and we're making plays. We just need to limit the turnovers and we will be in good shape come SOC time

If West Throws for more than 150 yards in this one, they WIN.....if not then IMO here comes loss #4. Every team they play from here on out is going to key on the Run and Stop it with the exception of (NW).

I don't think that you are going to see West score a bunch of points this year. But I have noticed their Defense has improved a great deal starting the second half of the Chilly game. They may have to ride their defense this year to win games.

I'll have to go with West in this one if they can get some yards in the air.

Tough to play a whole season on the road... Hope to see the Peake play well and get the win.

Listen i agree 100 percent about the fumbles, Bricker fumbles the ball 3 times but waa called down on one, but he has a talent to find a hole in a defense, he had 18 carries for 133 yards last week and this is his first year to start in a varsity game, not to mention he was the quarterback all summer and the first 2 games of the season, I expect a big game out of him and meeker this week, meeker only had about 10 carries in varsity games last year, these boys will come into it, if they dont turnover the ball this week, then the peake is in a lot of trouble, still a believer from the West Side, Goodluck Wild West Siders !

Lets go boys hang on to the ball and wrap up on D-fense and everything else will take care of itself! Keep up the hard work and good things will happen.
