Post game show

basketball would be nice. all sports. how about a weekly hour show with dearth about any sport you want to talk about...

that is a good idea....a hour show where Doug can bring in coaches and players and discuss their seasons....both boys and girls......basketball-wrestling -volleyball-which is winding down......you won't find a more a personn who cares about high school athletes.........better than listening to ole country music over and over.....and sure there are sponsers who would donate to the area athletes........all around southeastern ohio....... 8)

I heard someone mention that there is also a post game show on 100.9 or some station. I thought 107.7 had the only post game show. Anyone else know anything about this?

Can someone change the title of this thread to the Nelsonville-York post game show? Only NY fans listen and that is all they talk about on 107.7. Annaranvajas may be the most bias poster on this board. I don't think he has ever picked NY to win by less than 50.

I listened in to the show last week for 15 minutes before I heard NY mentioned. There was a lot of talk about Trimble, Athens, Eastern... concerning their playoff chances. Furthermore, does SEOPS have a rule that we can't pick our team to win? Or is that comment just reflecting your bias against NY?

Last weeks show on Power 10 5 was dominated by Nelsonville-York talk ... Rob covered the NY/Alex game - and when he got back to the station - a good 30 minutes was spent on the game and the Buckeyes.

You just didn't listed long enough Amarranavajas ... a lot of times, the teams that get mentioned later, get talked about more as the radio guys get in from covering their games.

trying to get the guru for a guest host for playoffs....what do you guys think......him and Doug did a great show when on Logan WLGN.....and I'm not fron Nelsonville......from Logan way and really enjoy the post game show......

Not true Iggy25. 107,7 talks about all school. not one school is left out and Buckeyes get not more time than any other school..if you listen you will hear coaches from all over calling Dearth and they talk about their game.I think you are just putting that on here to cause a argument.and there is no need for that. listen to the whole show this friday. Dearth does a great job covering all school.

No my point is that obviously it is too much for you to hear other teams talked about. Last I checked, Nelsonville-York has been covered heavy on Power 105 as well as every county team. Sorry, NY's only chance of making the playoffs is beating Athens. The guys made that clear.

And Power 105 has the exact same thing. But from what I have seen on here, it is all NY fans listening. A handful of NY fans get so flustered if someone isn't talking about their team every 10 minutes.

iggy25...the BUCKEYES are a different team since the Tomcat game..........YOUNG.....he 8)

makes the difference....nothing against the soph quaterback cause he's going to be a goody......just not ready quite yet to be running the show.......

Bulldogs and Buckeyes will be a close game. hard to pick one. could go either way. Listened to the 107.7 radio show after the games. good show I like when dearth is on at half time giving up dates on other area teams. anyone heard if the show will be on during the playoffs

Iggy, NY can still make the playoffs even with a loss to the dogs. Key games for NY, Columbus Acc, Fredricktown, East Knox. If NY gets beat and any of these teams win they will jump NY. All of these teams are underdogs. The Grove is close, but just can't catch NY even with a win and a NY loss.
Logan and Alex can also help with a win. So it is possible! But with a win there would be no doubt. Should be a great game. Both teams are playing there best ball right now. Its NY's running game against Athens air game. Both teams are averaging a lot of pts per game. Of course I like the Buckeyes 28-26.

That post sounded like you were planning on doing a pre-game show in the DOG POUND for the playoffs ...

But since their is only one DOG POUND - I asked if you were planing on doing the Athens game week 11?
