It's gonna come down to penalty's and turnovers...Who ever has the fewest wins. I'm on the fence with this one, It really can go either way!

Good luck Vikings. Cut down on the turn overs and mistakes and you should come out the winner's in this one. Looking forward to a great game from both teams and for hope the injury bug stay away from both teams. It seems like when these two teams play, the best comes out in both. Go Vikes

21 to 7. So Alexander's Defense is better than Galia Acadamy's or Piketon's. Maybe they are. I can see the same score just flipped. VC's Defense gives up some points too no doubt. So I think the score is higher VC 33 Alex 21. Shoot out at the VC corale!! :-D

Good point. But with the soggy ground, it could cause some turnovers by both teams. I think it will be more around 3 or 4 scores considering the weather and I think the final will be within a few points! Lets get it Vikes!! Start a new streak!!

I thought there would be a few more points on the board by both teams, and there would've been if not for all the turnovers. Great game to watch as a fan though.. hard hitting, big stops on defense and a down to the wire finish. Just as I thought it would be. Miller is a flat out stud for Alexander. Definitely the key to the Alex win. The Vikings played well and didn't pack it in when they got down in the 2nd quarter. I was impressed with the defense by the Vikings. Only giving up two huge plays and a couple of stops deep in their own territory. Get focused on Meigs! Congrats to Alexander on the win. It seems like every week they're in a dogfight. Good luck next week against Athens.

Alexander will need a miracle next week against Athens, and Nelsonville-York later, but definitely have a shot at Meigs and Wellston.

Agree 100%,, gonna need a bigger fishn pole and net to catch the big fish in the pond of small fish. :122245
Athens rolls in this one, even over every team, including NY. My opinion. Maybe the miracle from 2 yrs ago happens again..

Well Joedirt you were right. Awsome game. Two huge plays killed us. Heard all the points we all were looking for happened in the JV game. VC on the short end of that one too. Great competition by two great groups of kids. Good luck next week. Hope you shake southeast Ohio.

VCtransplant yes I would love to see stats from that JV game , it was a fun one to watch both teams had good offensive games. The 2 onside kicks were crazy, both teams look to have some play makers coming in the future.

Someone help me out here. I can't remember his name, but he is a Sophomore just like our varsity quarterback. They could be a deadly 1-2 punch in a year or two similar to what Alex has now at the qb position.

I was at both games and I think his form and passes looked really good. He madeSome good passes and his receivers looked pretty good aswell. Alexanders has got there JV running game going really good and yesterday they actually made some really nice completions too. I think we may see a few of those kids playing more and more on Friday nights.
