Special Memory of a Classy Rock Hill Gesture
Today marks the six yeaar anniversary of the deaths of Ohio Highway Patrol Troopers Dale Holcomb and Joshua Risner. I remember that day because Dale was a dear friend of the family. I'll never forget that Friday when Rock Hill came to RV. The fans and players prayed on the field with the RV faithful and they were so supportive and kind. I've never seen so much class shown by a team and it's fans. For that reason, Rock Hill will always have a special place. Thank you fans and players both then and now.

Add my kudos as well, Bliz Mom. I was acquainted with both officers.
Both RH and RV have generally been CLASS ACTS above and beyond football.

I get chills thinking about the scene that night. It was truly special.

I officiated several games at the old Rock Hill field and a couple on the new one. They always had prayer over the PA before the game. I always appreciated that.

Every school should do it in my opinion.Hardfowl wrote:I officiated several games at the old Rock Hill field and a couple on the new one. They always had prayer over the PA before the game. I always appreciated that.

Amen, prayer needs to be a part of our daily life and back in the school system. We need to pray for all of our public officials for wisdom and their protection.
