Federal Hocking fans have been begging for respect, the time is now. Wahama is to much in my opinion but if the lancers can keep it close it will still raise alot of eyebrows.

I love empirical data, it takes all the emotion out of the argument. Fed is one minute of poor clock management from being 6-0 going into this match up. Frankly, they should be 5-1 or 6-0 going into this game, considering the very weak schedule they have played to date (go over to the Athens vs Alexander thread, someone has posted Drew Pastuer's strength of schedule for some of the TVC and Fed Hock was at the bottom). Fed has Wahama, Eastern, Trimble, and the Miller High Lifes over the next four weeks (not in that particular order). Fed squeaked out wins against H2OFord, Belpre, and Southern, and throttled Hannah and South Gallia, as they should have.

The quality of the opponent gets ratcheted up, exponentially, this week, and pretty much over the rest of the schedule (High Lifes are the exception). Fed's lack of depth is going to catch up to them in these games.

Wahama has allowed more scoring this season than in the past, and I don't know about their pass defense. If they don't defend the pass well, this game could be pretty competitive. If they defend the pass well, White Falcons win going away.

I'll say Wahama by 16 points.

Alexander had a smilar post made about them two years ago heading into the Athens game ... after playing Eastern, Unioto, River Valley, Frontier and a winless Huntington team ... their strength of schedule was horrible and everyone thought beating Athens was impossible ... they beat Athens 28-27 and went on to make the playoffs ...

True. That being said, that Alexander team was much deeper and had more talent than this Fed Hock team. However, you are correct, anything can happen and that's why they play the games. Regardless, I'm going with the White Falcons in this contest.

Trimble plays a weak schedule other than Nelsonville and Wahama they arent even battle tested with there schedule ...just my thoughts!!!! Good luck to the lancers i hope you show everyone what Athens county is made of :122249

Fed Hock battled well on this game..........ur score was off by a few points lol it was 6-24!!! no where near 53! Had a few of our running backs gotten more of a chance they may have scored more but n the end it is what it is.........and BTW what do u mean a "spotlighters club"? Just curious
