Fed Hock played hard, and disproved a lot of doubters from other schools. They fared better than I expected, I now think that they can win two of the next three games, to finish at what, 7-3? I'd have never guessed that at the beginning of the season, after watching what happened when they played Alexander.

Let the "spotlighters club" comment go. That just goes to show you how far back some of the rutters have to go to try and disparage a program. The spotlighter incident occurred back in 2004, and it involved the basketball team. I think it may be time to let something stupid go that involved a bunch of 15,16, and 17 year olds from eight years ago. Just sayin.

Now, I have full license to continue to bring up the GURU incident at the Shingle Inn until eternity because 1) it involved an adult, and 2) it is still absolutely hilarious, and ridiculous, that he got his old butt in trouble out there in the gravel parking lot of the now defunct Shingle Inn. :122245  :122245  :122245

I thought the Lancers hung tough last night ... the early fumble in the Wahama red zone to start the 2nd quarter hurt a little ... not scoring when they recovered a White Falcons fumble on the 6-yard line was a momentum killer - they came up just an inch short from scoring ... that game could have easilly been 20-12 Federal Hocking at the half.

I threw up a few pics from last night on the Federal Hocking team page ... http://trivalleyconference.com/Federal_Hocking.html

So how does some clown from Wahama mentioning spot lighting give you the green light to dig up a single embarrassing episode, in an otherwise squeaky clean past, of a local legend?

OK, let's see here, where should I start? Squeaky clean? Um, I believe when the Guru was running for political office, his opponent may have brought up some other prior indiscretions of the hallowed guru. So squeaky clean, give me a friggin' break. I have already clearly explained why I have the right, privilege, "green light" to say what I want. Here you go:

Your beloved guru was arrested in the parking lot (while possessing an alcoholic beverage) for a multitude of charges, that were all public record. He was an adult when this occurred, and I've gotten quite a bit of mileage out of it on here, simply because A) what he did was ridiculous B) What occurred was clearly, and repeatedly reported by the print and radio media, and C) he negotiated his way from three or four charges to pleading guilty to one or two because of his behavior. Seems to me as a member of the media at the time, a public figure, and an aspiring politician, I can dredge up whatever I want to about it, for the sake of some humor now. Does that answer your inane inquiry?
